Hien has developed and markets Spiral Hanger (patented) for optical cables.
Featuring excellent safety and workability, these epoch-making products are used widely to implement infrastructures supporting the age of optical communication (the installation of communication cable in aerial duct), as another of Hien’s ingenious product lines.
Safe and Speedy Installation of Optical Cables
Spiral HangerTM is radically new aerial wire hangers that radically change conventional cable installation processes. Our Spiral HangerTM has already enabled remarkable advances in safety and speed of communication cable installation work throughout Japan, and is highly rated by our customers.
- A worker fixes cable-fastening devices while moving a high-place-work vehicle or ladder.
To cross a road, river or railroad track, the worker must work in a suspended position.
- A worker on a pole on one side connects Spiral HangerTM and sends them toward the next pole. Cable is continuously passed through the Spiral HangerTM defined by the wire extending. Since the operation simply involves sending cable out, no worker suspension is needed for crossing roads, rivers or railroad tracks.
Shape and Construction of Spiral HangerTM
Spiral Hanger TM is composed of hard steel wire coated with polyethylene-type resin that extends itself in a unique spiral fashion, while offering excellent resistance against weather and corrosion alike.
