| 1954 | Established as Osaka Lead-Sheathed Electric Cable Industries, Ltd. (Head office: 142 Nakazaki-cho, Kita-ku, Osaka-shi, Osaka; Capital: ¥750,000) |

| 1960 | Changes its corporate name to Hien Electric Industries, Ltd. Opens Fukuoka Branch Office |
| 1962 | Enters a technical partnership with Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. |
| 1966 | Obtains certification from Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK) |
| 1968 | イObtains certification from Lloyd’s Register of Shipping (LR) in the U.K. and makes its first delivery Opens Terada Factory in Izumi, Osaka |
| 1971 | Develops cables with length markings |
| 1973 | Begins construction of Osadano Factory in Osadano Industrial Park in Fukuchiyama, Kyoto |
| 1974 | Completes the first phase of its Osadano Factory and begins operations |
| 1976 | Completes the relocation of its Sakai Factory to its Osadano Factory |
| 1984 | Begins a total productive maintenance (TPM) campaign |
| 1987 | Develops halogen-free, frame-resistant cables and obtains certification from the Defense Agency of Japan |
| 1990 | Appointed as an authorized distributor of Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd.’s optical fiber products |
| 1991 | Develops SUPRO Strand (files a patent application on October 22, 1991) |
| 1995 | Develops a hanger for aerial cables (Super Hanger) |
| 2000 | Registers SUPRO Strand as a new technology with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT)’s Tohoku Regional Development Bureau |
| 2001 | Obtains ISO 14001 certification for its Osadano Factory |
| 2003 | Obtains ISO 9001:2000 certification for its Osadano Factory |
| 2004 | Celebrates its 50th anniversary. |
| 2009 | Obtains ISO 9001:2008 certification for its Osadano Factory |
