Hien has developed an original product for installing optical fiber cables, Super Hanger, and obtained authorizations from Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings, Inc. (TEPCO); Chubu Electric Power Company, Inc.; OTNet Co., Inc.; Chubu Telecommunication Co., Inc. (CTC); and QTnet Inc. Ensuring a high degree of safety and offering excellent workability, the Super Hanger is extensively used in infrastructure developments (e.g., power and telecommunication cable installations in aerial conduits) that underpin broadband network infrastructure.

Hien’s Super Hanger does not have male or female connectors; the connectors at both ends are identical, and therefore the units can be connected with each other more quickly without the workers having to check to see if the units connect and flip the unit around to get the correct ends to match. When disconnecting and storing the units, the workers do not need to worry about aligning the ends. Furthermore, the system utilizes a snap-lock design so no tools are required, which allows the workers to perform hassle-free manual installations that keep their hands from getting tired, leading to reducing workloads.
More than twice as strong
Super Hanger’s connectors have a greater strength than those of previous Hien products. In terms of flexural properties, they are more than twice as strong.-
Easy to install more cables
Super Hanger is capable of accommodating multiple cables, making it easy to install additional ones. It also allows for installation work without ruining surrounding landscapes.
Super Hanger
Super Hanger excels in durability and workability as it is made of galvanized high-carbon steel wires that are coated with highly weather- and corrosion-resistant polyethylene resin with a low coefficient of friction.
Terminal clamp
Hot-dip galvanizing is applied to hot-rolled steel sheets, steel strips, and carbon steel for cold heading, contributing to great weather and corrosion resistance. Together with Super Hanger, the terminal clamp can be attached to steel-stranded cables that are 5.4 to 9.6 mm in external diameter. Only having one fixing bolt, it offers a high level of workability.
