About Hien’s certifications

To manufacture and supply ship cables to other countries, it is necessary to be registered with the classification societies of relevant countries and/or to have designations from certified factories.

Hien first registered with Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK) in 1966. In 1968, it became aligned with Lloyd’s Register of Shipping (LR) in the United Kingdom, one of the most prestigious classification societies in the world.
